About Lowbough
Climbers who'd rather save a tree.
Lowbough started in 2012, when two climbers decided the north-east needed arborists who saw removal as the last option, not the first.

Our story
Most trees we're called to don't need to come down. They need deadwood out, weight off a heavy limb, or a bit of light let through. We'll tell you that, even when a removal would be the bigger job.
When a tree does need to go, we take it down safely and tidily, in sections if we have to, without a scratch on the garden underneath.
We live and work in the bush around Eltham and Warrandyte, and we care about what it looks like in fifty years.
- 13years climbing
- 5,200+trees cared for
- 900+stumps ground
- 24/7storm call-outs
What we stand by
Three things we won't budge on.
- 01
Save it if we can
Pruning before removal, every time it's a real option.
- 02
Safe for everyone
Qualified climbers, proper rigging, and the site closed off while we work.
- 03
Leave it tidy
Raked, blown and swept, and the mulch left where you want it.
Why Lowbough
A good prune can add decades to a tree, and a bad one can kill it slowly. We cut to the tree's own collar, take only what needs to go, and tell you straight when a tree is genuinely dangerous and when it just needs a tidy.
